We would like to introduce you the Interhotel America **** and to offer you our services. We offer a comprehensive package of services for a great number of Czech as well as foreign visitors. The hotel is a suitable place for family holidays, celebrations, wedding parties, company presentations, training courses and seminars, or sport courses. The hotel is located in a quiet area right at the foot of Písecké hory (the Písek Mountains). Thanks to its position, the hotel is suitable for hiking, cycling, fishing, hunting and many other leisure activities. The town of Písek was founded in the 13th century together with the local castle. Since the very beginning, it was one of the richer towns due to gold mining. Now there can be found a wide range of cultural and architectural monuments. We recommend visiting the town's dominant feature - a stone bridge, which is the oldest preserved bridge in Bohemia.

You should not also miss the church of the Birth of Our Lady, the cloister church of the Elevation of the Holy Cross, the church of the Holy Trinity, the remains of Putimská brána (the Putim City Gate) and the castle hosting Prácheňské muzeum (the Prácheň Museum). The burgher houses with their signs are also worth seeing - the White Elephant, the Golden Ship, the Silver Dinars or the White Lamb are some of them.  Interhotel America **** is located in a quiet area at the foot of Písecké hory (the Písek Mountains), in the town part called Amerika. These two aspects - woods and the neighbourhood name - gave the name to the hotel project - 'a steamboat America cruising through the sea of Písek woods'. America, originally the project name, remained the name of the hotel. And why a steamboat? Looking at the hotel complex you will find several features borrowed from big steamboats, such as round windows, segmentation of railings lining a number of hotel terraces or air-conditioning in the shape of a ship funnel. The hotel building itself was finished in 1993.

We offer 36 double rooms for your stay in the beautiful historical town of Písek. The rooms are equipped with a bathroom with a shower-bath or a bath, a toilet, a colour satellite TV set and a telephone with direct dialling (the opportunity of connecting to the internet).
All the rooms have a terrace.

There are 3 suites available for the most demanding guests. The suites consist of a living room, bedroom, bathroom and toilet. Everything is very spacious to ensure maximum luxury.

The suites, as opposed to the standard double rooms, are equipped with a safe. The safe is available free of charge at the reception desk.
